The late nineteenth
century/early twentieth century Impressionist
painter, Paul Sawyier, was a prolific painter
of the landscape in his home area of central
Kentucky. His hometown of Frankfort, Kentucky
is the subject of many street scenes. The Paul
Sawyier collection also contains a couple of
park scenes from New York City.
If you like
the work of Paul Sawyier, you are likely to
also like the work of one of America's most
well known impressionistic artists, L. Gordon.
Scenes to dream by is what L. Gordon gives
you.
As
you can see, there is a wide variety of styles
and artists in this collection.
My
husband and I had a home-based business selling
collector prints and framing from the basement
of our home for better than twenty-five years. I am now liquidating
the print inventory. The photography is my
own amateur photography. The lighting is
not always good. As a result, the colors
are not always true. Please don't hesitate
to ask questions about any print that interests
you.
Also, I
have a nice collection of dolls for sale.
